Welcome to the Independent Realist
Sometimes, a blog is just not enough. Granted, I
could have put each and everything you may find on this website onto to the
Independent Realist blog, however, eventually the various posts would have been
lost into that endless maze known as "older posts." The search option
would have worked, but sometimes brings up more than what the searcher may have
been looking for. In addition, there is always the possibility that Google (I
currently use blogger as my blogging format) may someday take exception to some
of the things I have to say and shut me down. Not that I am worried about that
possibility, nor am I being paranoid. I just like to be prepared for possible
eventualities. You never know what's around the next corner.
I also have some things that I would like to include on this website, that just simply would not work in a blog format. The links for example. There are currently almost 200 links to be found in the links section of this website, separated into seven different categories. Trying to do that on a blog sidebar would be possible, but ridiculously difficult to read. And then there are the Orion reports and the downloads. Well, I am sure you can see the difficulties in putting all of these on a blog. And so, the idea for this website was born. Yes, it is still in a state of flux while I continue to work out the bugs here, and get everything up and online, I continue to hope that you will find something to interest you here, and I hope you will continue to visit here from time to time to see the new items that I will be putting up as they become available.
