Spent the weekend pouring over Craigslist, digging through classifieds and checking Facebook. I uncovered a couple of potential places that have promising job openings here in Austin:

1. Austin Chiropractor Dr. Schade - They have an opening for a front desk person for their chiropractic office. Not sure how good I might be at this but the experience would be a lot of help for future jobs.

2. Austin Personal Injury Lawyers Terry, Simon & Kelly - Since I want to be a lawyer this would be much more up my alley. I need experience working in law firms.

I am posting these two companies in case anyone reading this has experience with either of these places. As I said I am new here to Austin and could use some feedback. If you are reading this and have first hand experience with either of these places of business, hit me up and please let me know!  :)

Wanted to give a shout out to Dr Schade at Active Life Healing Center. I had a wonderful experience there and they are wonderful people. If you have any sort of back or neck pain, check this place out.

Been away from the laptop. Work is going really good. Took the weekend off and FINALLY watched The Hunger Games on Netflix, awesome movie.  The sequel is already here, two months away!  Can't wait to see it

So I guess it's time to settle in and find a job. I plan on checking craigslist for any law firms hiring in Austin. If anyone is reading this and has some contacts in any firms please contact me.

A friend asked my why I even wanted to be a lawyer, with that profession being so competitive. That's a great question and maybe I will jot my thoughts down and post them here. But first, I have to pay the bills and that means J-O-B-4-M-E!

The Fact That These Ads Are Fake Is Hilarious. That Everyone Thought They Are Real Is Disconcerting.  Found these on www.upworthy.com

Of course always be careful. The heat here is intense and can burn you really badly if you don't wear sun screen.
